Local/State Groups

1 Million Rising

1 Million Rising is a national effort to train one million people in the strategic logic and practice of non-cooperation, as well as the basics of community organizing and campaign design. This is how we build people power that can’t be ignored.

You can subscribe to the local 1 Million Rising substack to keep abreast of upcoming meetings and volunteer opportunities.

Bonner Alerts

BonnerAlerts is a blog designed to make it easier for voters to take action and make their voices heard on local issues. Moderators monitor key developments in our community and provide timely, actionable steps so subscribers can effectively engage with elected officials. Focus is on the issues – not partisan politics – and information is presented from multiple perspectives on each topic. Currently, we send alerts about:

  • Idaho state legislation related to education, health, and voting rights
  • Local and state elections
  • Environmental concerns such as the Rock Creek Mine, climate resilience, public land management, and county land use codes

The Pro-Voice Project

The Pro-Voice Project inspires the people of Idaho to explore, embrace, and advocate for abortion access and reproductive rights, utilizing the power of personal story. Two Idaho Representatives from District 1 sought to amend the cruel, draconian abortion laws in Idaho. It is due to the tireless efforts of the Pro-Voice Project that they were educated on how and why Idaho’s abortion laws need to be amended.

Join the mailing list to keep abreast of developments in abortion rights and learn about upcoming events.

Idahoans United for Women & Families

“Our mission is to advocate for and restore access to comprehensive reproductive health care while promoting the well-being of women, children, and families in Idaho. We believe Idahoans deserve the freedom to make their own reproductive health care decisions with privacy, dignity, and in consultation with trusted care providers, clergy, and family members.”
