Show support to our LGBTQ community members

Sandpoint’s ordinance, §5-2-10, passed 15 years ago, states that, “all persons, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity/expression enjoy the full benefits of citizenship and are afforded equal opportunities for employment, housing, commercial property, and the use of public accommodations.”

Sandpoint Mayor Jeremy Grimm seeks to amend this ordinance.

Our city ordinance is something every citizen of Sandpoint can be proud of. It tells anyone in the LGBTQIA+ community that they are welcome in Sandpoint, and respected as a fellow citizen.
