This Saturday’s Event: Participation & Safety Reminders

Saturday, Oct 17
NO KINGS event to encourage everyone to
VOTE EARLY!!!
Bonner County Courthouse
215 S 1st Ave
Sandpoint, ID 83864

noon – 2 pm

  • Trained Peacekeepers will be present.
  • Bring your own signs, or borrow a sign or make your own at the Sandpoint Indivisible tent!
  • Feel free to bring an American flag. The flag belongs to all of us!
  • Remain peaceful. If any counter-protestors show up, we ask that you DO NOT ENGAGE.
If you feel you must engage, please take your conversation AWAY from others at the rally.
  • ***Do not block streets or driveways***
  • Stay on sidewalks. Do not stand in the streets.
  • On the sidewalks, be sure there we are not blocking it and people can get through.
  • Stay a few steps back from the very edge of the sidewalk. On April 5th, 2025, a driver of a truck truck swerved toward the sidewalk to use his side mirrors to hit participants’ signs. Let’s stay safe!
  • USE the CROSSWALKS, please! Sandpoint Police have specifically requested that we use the crosswalks.

We have been told that the Sandpoint Police Department has received calls complaining that people at our events were “running in front of cars.” We know this is false and never happened, but let’s stay safe! Stay on the sidewalks and USE THE CROSSWALKS.

Food Drive

As we remind everyone to vote, let’s show solidarity with our community members who may need some assistance in these challenging days! We will be collecting for the Bonner Community Food Bank at Saturday’s event! (A big thank you to Volunteer Jackie, who is organizing yet another food drive!)

Click here for a list of items the food bank is requesting. Anything you can contribute helps!
